When purchasing a golf cart, it is important to know the overall dimensions of it.

You may want to haul or store this golf cart and want to be sure that that your cart will fit with your equipment or storage unit that you plan on using.

The average golf cart is typically about four feet wide by 8 feet long and 6 feet high.  This average for a standard 2 seat golf cart.  The Metric measurements would be 1.2m x 2.4m x 1.8m.

If you are looking at a 4 seat or 6 seat golf car, it will be bigger and have different dimensions than the above average.

Golf Cart Trailer Dimensions

loading golf cart onto trailerThe average golf cart should fit into a 5X10 trailer without any hassle.

Smaller trailers of this size usually come equipped with a loading ramp to allow ease of loading for the golf cart.

Always be sure to strap the tires as well to be sure the cart is secure.

Loading A Golf Cart In A Truck Bed

loading a golf cart onto a truck bedIf you have an average truck size and standard golf cart, you should be able to load a golf cart in the bed of a truck.

Always be sure of what your golf cart weighs before loading it.

The best way to load it would be to use some ramps that have a load capacity of at least 1500lbs.

It’s important to use straps or tie downs to secure the golf cart to the bed of the truck to prevent it from sliding.

Also, be sure that the truck’s tailgate is securely locked into place before moving.

*Important*

Be sure you properly measure the bed of your truck or pickup by taking the length and width measurements from the floor.  Be sure you compare those measurements with your golf cart to ensure a proper fit.
